Words of encouragement and guidance from our leadership, highlighting PHA Bahawalpur's commitment to a greener and more beautiful city.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif
Chief Minister Punjab"Transforming Bahawalpur into the City of Gardens"
Ever since the establishment of HA Bahawalpur in 2014, the authority has come a long way in improving the green cover in the city of Bahawalpur. I am proud to say that today, Bahawalpur is among the most beautiful cities of South Punjab and HA Bahawalpur has played a major role in achieving this distinction.
The horticulture designing and landscaping on city roads, the interchanges, and the major avenues is really appreciable. The initiative of pictorial documentation of horticulture development along with the photography of historic monuments in Bahawalpur is also commendable.
I congratulate the management of HA Bahawalpur for this initiative and hope it will keep on upgrading the level of horticulture in the city. I also take this opportunity to advise that HA Bahawalpur must focus on extensive plantation of indigenous tree species, thereby bringing back the past glory of Bahawalpur as the "City of Gardens" of South Punjab.

Managing Director – HA BahawalpurHorticulture Agency Bahawalpur is meant to enhance greenery and beautification of our city. We are committed to providing a smooth, lively, and aesthetically enriching environment to the citizens — primarily by planting more trees, developing parks, green belts, flower beds, horticulture landscapes, and through innovative urban design.
HA Bahawalpur will be one of the best and most prominent institutions of the government — distinguished by its organization, performance, delivery, creativity, innovation, and use of scientific methodology. I urge every citizen of Bahawalpur to come forward and become part of our mission by protecting the greenery, plants, and flowers that make our city beautiful.
Bahawalpur may not be the capital of Pakistan, yet it is undoubtedly South Punjab's social, cultural, and historical hub. Besides its remarkable architecture, the greenery of Bahawalpur has always been a hallmark of the city — richly depicted in its flora, fauna, paintings, carvings, and sculptures throughout history.
Since its inception in 2014, HA Bahawalpur has come a long way in making this historic city cleaner, greener, and brighter. Over the years, the infrastructural demands of an expanding urban population have resulted in significant concrete growth in the form of buildings and road structures. This growth necessitates a corresponding increase in green cover to balance the cityscape and provide a softer, more welcoming feel to residents. PHA Bahawalpur is working tirelessly to maintain this balance, enhance the aesthetic beauty of the city through rich landscaping along city roads, and expand plantation throughout the city's avenues and parks.
