Some of its significant functions include regulating outdoor advertisement activities in Bahawalpur, organising events like Eid festivals and Jashn-e-Bahar, and placing billboards in the targeted areas of the city. Revenue generated through outdoor advertisement is channelled back into green development and park maintenance.

If you are planning to fix a sign at the façade of your business premises, you do not need permission from this authority. However, if you are planning to install a signboard in the green belt or on the rooftop of business premises, then you are required to seek permission from this office.

Outdoor advertising appears in a variety of places outside the home. The industry broadly categorises it into four main types:

What if any outdoor advertising business is newly established or new in the city? Top ↑
If your advertising business is newly formed or new to the city, you may be required to register with the authority (PHA) as an outdoor advertising firm. The application form for registration can be obtained from this office by submitting an application to Director General PHA.
